Don't even know how to describe the last 10 hours

Went to this place about an hour or so away from where we're staying. Met up with Roger's boy from home for his birthday. Met a lot of people from all over doing pretty cool things in Seoul. Went to a few American bars in the area. Ended up leaving at around 5AM and just got back.

Some guy at the bar convinced us that taking the bus home instead of the metro was a better option. He told us exactly what bus to get on where to go and everything. Pretty much take this bus into the middle of Korea. I have never been more lost in my life. Every symbol, word, sign, or picture was in Korean. I don't mind getting lost in DC or maybe some random state, but in this area nobody spoke english.

Ended up hopping on a few random buses that we thought would help, just took us even further out of the way.

Figured this would happen a couple times while we were over here, but we ended up taking a cab.

Don't know why cab drivers insist on talking to you in Korean when you tell them over and over again that you don't know ANY Korean.

Never taking the bus again. Ever.

Finally home at 730AM. EPIC?

Ended up at a bath house late one night..

Itaewon for the Day

Went to this place Hongdae which is a really popular shopping area. So many little markets and streets lined with cool stuff. When we first got to Korea everyone was wearing glasses and I thought that everyone just terrible vision. On the streets in Hongdae there were so many vendors and stores just selling glasses with no prescription, pretty weird. I think it's just a fashion trend to wear glasses even if there is no prescription. Literally, everyone wears glasses..

Also ate at Outback Steakhouse tonight which was pretty good, kind of expensive though. Bloomin onion's always good.

Tonight, we're meeting up with Roger's friend from Chapel Hill for his birthday. Should be a crazy night!!!!

Should be sleeping

Tonight we took it pretty easy and decided to grab some beers and play some pool. When we got to the billiards club, people were playing, but not the pool we were used to. The way they were playing involved a normal size pool with no pockets and only 4 balls. Never quite learned the rules of that game because nobody spoke english. Luckily they had one table all the way in the corner that was the pool we were used to.

On the way back we got drawn in to one of those game machines that has the claw which grabs the animal. Roger was oddly really good at this and grabbed two animals on his first two tries. Then went 0/12.

I believe tomorrow we're going shopping in a few places in Seoul. Maybe grab dinner at Outback? Sounds like a great day.
